Aina Asif was born on 27 September 2008 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Raised in a family from Sindh and practicing Islam, she grew up with an older brother, Ahmed Asif, who is also active as an actor, and a sister, Labib Asif. A cousin, Muhammad Hassaan, works in the arts as a singer, author and actor.

As of 2023 she was studying in class 8 at Meritorious International School in Karachi. Her nickname is Mamo and she is sometimes referred to as Aina Maina. Physically, she has hazel brown eyes and brown hair. Her zodiac sign is Libra.

Career

Aina started in the entertainment industry as a child model, appearing in print shoots and television commercials for brands including Fortified Chakki Atta, PTCL, Kashmir Cooking Oil, Hilal Baking Experts and Scene on Karo. Her screen debut came as a child performer on television: she appeared in Pehli Si Muhabbat (2012) in the role of young Rakhshi, a production that aired on Ary Digital.

She has continued to work steadily on television, moving into acting roles on Urdu dramas. Her credits include Hum Tum (2022) on Hum TV; Pinjra (2022) on ARY Digital; and a series of 2023 appearances in Baby Baji and Mayi Ri, both on ARY Digital, and Jannat Se Aagay on Geo Entertainment.
