Amala Paul was born on 26 October 1991 in Ernakulam, Kerala, and grew up in Aluva. She completed her schooling at Nirmala Higher Secondary School in Aluva and went on to graduate from St. Teresa’s College, Kochi, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative English.
