Amitabh Dayal was born on 4 May 1971 in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. He attended Mission School in Bilaspur and went on to study engineering, completing a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical disciplines. Career

Dayal entered the Hindi film industry with his on-screen debut in Kagaar: Life on the Edge (2003), portraying the character Bhaskar Sarnaik.
