Raised in a family with a father who served in the Indian Air Force, she spent her early years in Delhi before moving to Bangalore for higher education. She attended Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in Delhi and Kendriya Vidyalaya Hebbal in Bangalore. For college she studied at BMS College of Engineering, where she completed a degree in chemical engineering.
