Bharat Sundaresan was born on 8 May 1985 in Mumbai and grew up in the city. He attended Fatima High School in Vidyavihar West and later completed a journalism course at the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai. Career

Sundaresan began his professional journalism career at The Indian Express in May 2008, joining as a special correspondent and cricket writer.
