Early life and background

Gagan Arora was born on 16 September 1993 in New Delhi. He grew up in the city and completed his schooling at National Victor Public School. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, and later took a course in Film, Television, and Digital Video Production at the Xavier Institute of Communications in Mumbai. He belongs to a Punjabi family and has an elder brother named Gaurav Arora.

Career

Arora began his career working behind the camera. He served as an assistant director on the 2018 film Stree and worked as an associate producer at MTV India starting in July 2016. He also created content for an entertainment website called Raw n Dumb and runs a photography business, GA Arts, where he works as head photographer.

A transition to acting followed a theatre colleague’s suggestion to audition for on-camera work. His first acting appearance on television was in the series College Romance (2018), in which he played the character Bagga. He went on to appear in several web series and TV projects, including Girls Hostel (2018), 4 Thieves (2020), Basement Company (2020), and Tabbar (2021).
