Early life and background
Gashmeer Mahajani was born on 8 June 1985 in Pune. Raised in a family connected to the arts, he is the son of Marathi actor Ravindra Mahajani and his mother Madhu Mahajani. He attended Abhinava Vidyalaya English Medium High School in Pune and went on to graduate from Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce.

At 15 he began teaching dance and launched his own dance studio to help support his family.
