Jaey Gajera was born on 8 January 1992 in Mumbai and raised in Gujarat. He attended Carmel Convent School in Junagadh and later moved to England in 2010 to study audio engineering at SAE Institute in Liverpool. He comes from a Hindu family; his father, Babulal Gajera, is involved in directing and producing, and his mother, Gita Gajera, worked at Gajera Vidyabhavan in Surat.
