She attended Kendriya Vidyalaya in Shahibaug, Ahmedabad, and went on to complete higher studies that include an MBA in finance from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune, a postgraduate finance qualification from the Institute of Business Studies & Research in Mumbai, and a yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh. Soni began her working life in administrative and accounts roles before turning to modelling and acting. Between 2007 and 2018 she worked in the accounts and admin department at HPK Creation, and in 2019 she took up a position as an admin and account manager at Ankit Krishna And Sons Private Limited. Alongside this corporate work she launched a career in entertainment, first appearing on television and then moving into regional cinema and Bollywood.
