Mamta Sharma was born on 7 September 1980 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and grew up in the Birla Nagar neighbourhood. She attended Saint Paul's School in Morar and later moved to Mumbai, where she enrolled at Nalanda Academy. Her formal education includes a bachelor's degree in fine arts.
