Mrunal Ravindra Jadhav was born on 26 November 2008 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Raised in the city where she was born, she grew up in a family connected to public service: her father, Ravindra Jadhav, is employed with the Mumbai Police. She has a brother named Parag Jadhav. From an early age she trained in dance at Phulawa’s School of Dance & Gymnastics.

Mrunal’s screen career began on television. One of her earliest credited appearances was in the TV series Radha Hi Bawari (2012), where she played the role of Jui D’Costa. She made her film debut a couple of years later in the Marathi feature Lai Bhaari (2014), appearing as Rukmani.
