Early life and background

Neelu Vaghela was born on 15 April 1970 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She grew up in the region and has family roots in Marwar, near Jodhpur. Neelu began performing at a young age: she made her screen debut as a child artist at 11 in the Rajasthani film Supattar Binani (1981).

Career

Neelu built a long career in regional cinema and television, establishing herself as a familiar face in Rajasthani films and later in national television. Over the years she has acted in more than 50 Rajasthani films and several Gujarati films. Some of the regional film titles associated with her include Dharam Bhai, Bai Chali Sasariye, Veer Tejaji, Nanad Bhojai, Binani, Baba Ramdev, Jai Karni Mata, Ramgarh Ri Ramli, Baba Ji Ka Tullu, Derani Jethani and others.
