Nishant Dahiya was born on 4 January 1991 in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. He grew up moving around India during his childhood because his father served in the Indian Army. That upbringing left him feeling a strong connection to the military: several members of his family, including his father, grandfather and elder brother, have served in the armed forces.

After finishing school Nishant completed a B.Tech. in computer science and engineering from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. Although he had considered following the family tradition and joining the army, his plans shifted toward the creative fields and he developed an interest in modelling and acting.
