Early life and backgroundNitesh Pandey was born in Almora, Uttarakhand, and brought up with strong ties to his Kumaoni heritage. He completed his schooling at St. Stanislaus High School in Mumbai and graduated from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, with a degree in Sociology and History in 1992. From childhood he gravitated toward performance, participating in school plays and later training in theatre with mentors such as Pt. Satyadev Dubey, Sunil Shanbag and Bhupendra Deshmukh.
Career
Pandey launched his professional acting journey in theatre around 1990, appearing in stage productions including Aastha, Misal Pav and Main Bhi Superman. His screen debut came in 1995 with the films Baazi and the television series Tejas. Over the following decades he built a body of work across television serials, films, short films and web series, frequently cast in supporting and humorous parts.
On television he appeared in series such as Manzilein Apani Apani (2001), Justujoo and Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani (2002), Kuch Toh Log Kahenge (2011), Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara (2012) and Indiawaali Maa (2020).
