Nitesh Tiwari was born on 22 May 1972 in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh. He grew up in the region and attended local schools including Friends English Medium School in Itarsi and Bharat Mata Convent School in Behlot. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy and Material Science Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1996.

After graduating, Tiwari briefly worked at a software company for four months before shifting to advertising. He joined FCB Ulka as a copywriter and later served as a creative director at Leo Burnett.
