Paras Bhushan Kalnawat was born on 9 November 1996 in Bhandara, Maharashtra. Raised in a middle-class family, he completed his schooling in Nagpur and moved to Mumbai after finishing higher secondary education to pursue a career in acting. While in Mumbai he enrolled at S.K. Somaiya College of Arts, Science, and Commerce and graduated with a B.Com degree.

From an early age Paras took part in school plays and kept his focus on performance. He trained in dance at Terence Lewis’ academy and later honed his acting skills at Barry John’s acting school. These formative experiences set the stage for a career that would combine modelling, television and digital projects.

Career

Paras began his public career in modelling. In 2016 he competed in the People’s Choice Award Max Elite Model Look contest and won the Mr. Multimedia title. He has walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week for several designers and has appeared in print and television advertisements.

His television debut came in 2017 with the serial Meri Durga, where he played Sanjay Prince Ahlawat and gained broad recognition. Following that breakout, he appeared in a string of TV shows including Mariam Khan: Reporting Live, Aye Zindagi, Kaun Hai?, Laal Ishq, and Anupamaa.
