Raj Tirandasu was born on 6 June 1989 in Nalgonda, Telangana. Raised in a family with no prior ties to the film industry, he completed his formal education in the region and went on to earn a Master of Business Administration. He attended Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad. His parents are Yadagiri and Rameshwaramma.

Career

Raj began his professional life outside of entertainment, working as a software engineer at IBM for seven years. In 2019 he left that role to pursue acting full time.

His on-screen work started in 2018 with the Telugu web series Nirudyoga Natulu. Over the next few years he moved into several notable Telugu projects across streaming and film. In 2020 he appeared in the Aha web series Kotha Poradu, where he played the antagonist Nethi Rajesh.
