Reneesha Rahiman Biography

Reneesha Rahiman is an Indian television actress from Palghat, Kerala, known for roles in Malayalam serials including Seetha Kalyanam and Manasinakkare. A

Early life and background

Reneesha Rahiman was born on 10 July 1999 in Alathur, a town in the Palghat (Palakkad) district of Kerala, India. Raised in the same district that she calls home, she completed her college education and is described as a graduate. She is the sister of Aneesh Rahiman and remains unmarried.

Career

Reneesha entered the Malayalam television industry after auditioning for a role on the advice of a family friend. Her first prominent television appearance came with the serial Seetha Kalyanam, in which she played Swathi. The part—a sympathetic sister, devoted wife, and assertive daughter-in-law—earned her recognition among viewers and raised her profile in the regional television scene.

Her television work continued with roles across multiple Malayalam shows. She portrayed Anjali in the serial Manasinakkare in 2021 and took on a negative character, Poornima, in Sita Ramam in 2023. Beyond drama serials, she participated in several reality and non-scripted formats: she competed on the dance show Start Dance in 2020 and appeared on the adventure series Bhayam in 2021.

Reneesha also reached a wider audience through Bigg Boss Malayalam season 5. The competition aired on Asianet, and she finished the season as first runner-up when the grand finale took place on 2 July 2023.

Alongside acting, Reneesha has worked as a model for various brands. She maintains an active presence on social platforms with dance clips, lip-syncs, reels, and makeover content that are noted to be popular with her followers. In interviews she has indicated openness to film offers and said she has turned down offers from industries in other languages, though she would consider movies if a suitable opportunity arose.

Public profile

Physically, Reneesha is listed at approximately 175 cm (5 feet 9 inches) tall and around 55 kg (121 lbs). Her listed measurements and black hair and eye color are often included in profiles published about her. She has been credited under slight variations of her name, including Reneesha Rahman and Reneesha Rehman.

Her early television shooting schedule while she was a student involved splitting time between sets and college: she reportedly worked on the serial for about half the month and attended college for the other half.

Reneesha developed a close friendship with fellow actress Dhanya Mary Varghese while working on Seetha Kalyanam; Dhanya later appeared as a contestant in Bigg Boss Malayalam season 4.

Latest updates

In 2023 Reneesha expanded her television résumé with the role of Poornima in Sita Ramam and completed a high-profile run on Bigg Boss Malayalam 5, finishing as first runner-up. Her public activities continue to include brand modelling and social media content creation, and she has expressed interest in film work while noting she has declined certain offers in the past.
