Rohit Bhardwaj was born on 30 January 1983 in Punjab, India, and grew up attending school in Noida. He studied at Morden School and DAV Centenary Public School in Noida before going on to the University of Delhi. From a young age he was drawn to films and storytelling, and after graduation he spent an extended period studying theatre that ultimately set him on an acting path.

Career

Rohit launched his screen career with a small part in the film Iqbal (2005) and moved into television with roles that included Sukhi in Ranbir Rano (2008).
