The production was developed under Harkat Pictures and featured Yasra alongside Zain Afzal and Yousaf Bashir Qureshi; completion and release were delayed due to remaining shooting work that was affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
In 2020 she joined the cast of the web series Churails, playing Jugnu Chaudhry, a wedding planner with a troubled personal life. Churails drew wide attention and regulatory controversy in Pakistan; after a ban by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority the producers partnered with an international streaming platform to release the series globally on 11 August 2020.
