Aishwarya Kailash Mishra was born on 16 August 1997 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Raised in Dahisar, she attended Ryan International Group of Institutions in Mumbai and later studied at Thakur College, Kandivali, where she completed a B.Com. Athletics entered her life early: she took part in school marathons and races and won a 5 km event organized by St. Mary’s School in Dahisar in 2011.

Her family has roots in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. Her father Kailash Mishra moved to Mumbai in 1985 and has a background in sport at the district level.
